  • Porta de Fogo. A short 35" fiction movie by brazilian director Edgard Navarro, 1988. The movie tells the story of the death of guerrilla leader Carlos Lamarca in the sertões of Bahia in the '70s. The movie production was done in the town of Pintada where Lamarca was cowardly killed by the military dictactorship. Also featured in the movie as Zequinha, Lamarca's companion of arms. The movie won two kikitos in the 1988 Cinema Festival of Brasilia, Brazil.
