Drum Machine {Lab 2}

In this lab I decided to use sensors to make my drum machine from lab 1 more expressive. Here are the mappings that I used:

- FSR: force is proportional to my metro time in ms. Alternatively, force is inversely proportional to bpm. Therefore, in terms of an interaction metaphor: the harder you push, the more you impede the music.

- Button: this button is a simple kill switch. You can use it to cut sound off. The metro will stop, but the gate will remember where it left off.

- Distance sensor: related to pitch. The closer you are the higher pitched the notes. Therefore, you could consider your hand gesturing a wave length!
