Due on May 7 (for 2, 3, & 4 unit registrants)

Create a rhythmic study (30 seconds to 2 minutes in length) by applying at least three rhythmic devices discussed in class (as well as other techniques that you might imagine) to one or more simple, short sound sources of your choice (e.g., a click, a vocal phoneme, a cough, a door slam). The one noteworthy restriction is that you must do at least one thing that (a) feels contrary to your usual working method (at least in part); and (b) produces a music that is significantly different from what you might typically make. The piece should be submitted on audio CD and be labeled with your name.
