Nope. It looks like the maudio usb products have no internal mixers. My
quattro has buttons for input and output volumes +10db -4v or something
like that. Basically balanced and unbalanced.

If qinit works then you should be able to play using eg. alsaplayer or
arecord.
If you are using oss apps then you may need to
chmod a+rw /dev/dsp
