This idea is to advance the evolving daxophone.  This mutant splits its voice over four channels into separate horn drivers, filtered by silicone vocal tract models.  The models are modular so participants can modify the quadripthong.

These copper saucers segment the piano wires from which they suspend.  The wire is attached to bridges coupled to the inside of the top and bottom surface.  These bridges transfer vibrations from the bowed wire to the lenticular chamber.  Adding tension pulls them slightly apart, changing the chamber shape.  I would like to try hammering these copper dishes.  The hammering could be recorded and played back into the strings via reversed magnetic pickups.
