General Information: |
A graduate student working under Eugen Skudzryk at the Pennsylvania State University department of |
Physics. His thesis (included here) on "Long Wavelength Acoustic Holography" (1969) shows that this |
method can be used as a means of studying sound radiation from vibrating objects. This method was |
based on long wavelengths, but it was not until a further development by Earl Williams, another of |
Skudzryk's students, using short wavelengths that it could be applied to the surface of a violin. |
