General Information:

A research physicist at the Instituto Nationale di Elettroacustica O.M. Corbino, Rome. Worked in the

1940s and developed an electrostatic method of measuring the elasticity of solids. This method, basically

the measurement of frequencies and coefficients of resonance (log decrement) on vibrating strips of the

material in question, was adapted by Barducci and Pasqualini in their paper on "The Measurement of

Internal Friction and Elastic Constants of Wood" - see Benchmark Vol. 5, p 410.

File Contents:

B7290--101

Technical Papers: 1947 in Italian; 1954 jointly authored with M. Nuovo in French - both on

electroacoustic methods to measure elastic properties of solids.
