General Information:

A research engineer-acoustician, originally in the Department of Speech at Stanford University, and

since 1970 working at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, who has done and continues to do

analysis and synthesis of violin tones. Two of his early papers are included here. His most recent one

(at this writing) was given at ISMA '92 in Tokyo: "Investigation of timbre using spectral modelling and

interpolation."
