Winter 2020

• Starting the Winter Quarter (Intro and Social Meeting), January 22, 2020 at 9:30 am.

  Introduction meeting for wrapping up the past quarter and introducing the new quarter plans. The second part of the meeting will continue with social breakout rooms.

• Panel on Finding Internships, Summer Jobs, Residencies, and more, February 12, 2020 at 9:30 am.

  A panel with graduate students and alumni to discuss their experiences of mainly finding internships, summer jobs, and residencies. Panelists will share their approach and resouces.

• Professional Networking and Personal Brand with guest speaker Fred Gibbons, March 5, 2020 at 9:30 am.

  Fred Gibbson from EE and Business School will give a talk about professional networking and creating your own brand.

Fall 2020

• Approaching Peer Mentoring with invited speaker Kristopher Geda (November 13, 2020)

  Mentors and mentees convened for a meeting to discuss how to approach peer mentoring and best practices. You can find the presentation here.

• Mentoring Social (October 16, 2020)

  Bi-monthly social event was held remotely.

• Making the Most of Stanford (September 25, 2020)

  A panel with more senior Music Department graduate students was held. Mentees had the oppurtunity to ask questions and hear best practices at Stanford and in their program.

• Welcome Meeting (September 18, 2020)

  An introductory meeting to allow PMM participants to get to know each other. You can find the presentation here.
