Complete a "mini-project" by the final project presentation date (12/13) with all materials uploaded to the homework factory. The content is entirely up to you to invent/create/implement and present. A wide variety of projects is likely including short recorded pieces or performances, new synthesis methods and algorithms for music making and more. Use Chuck for the music programming and use as many or as few audio channels as the work dictates.
If using 4 channels, also post a binaurally-rendered version in the usual way (more than 4 are also encouraged but we'll take care of the web version by recording live-to-binaural with in-ear mics on presentation day).
Presentation of your work will not be from your own laptop! It'll be from your web page as displayed by either a CCRMA linux computer or a SLOrktop(MacBookPro) both of which are hooked to the sound system.
Multi-channel content (either generated in real time or recorded in advance) will need to be loaded and tested before the 3-hour siege. You'll have exactly 5 minutes to bring up the project, introduce and play. Think less than half of the usual "10am music presentations."
Email hongchan(hongchan@ccrma) with details of your work including: a title, a paragraph of description, technical needs, and concerns/questions. We'll review them and ask to meet the afternoon of 11/26 as needed.
