For this assignment, I wanted to create an auditory representation of the significance of food and cooking in Vietnamese culture.
In Vietnamese culture, sharing a meal with someone is a way of showing affection. When visiting friends or relatives, the host usually
prepares a meal for everyone to enjoy. Dinner time is particularly significant part of the day, where family members gather together and
talk about their day in a cozy atmosphere.
In my project, I used various sounds of cooking to capture the warmth and anticipation one feels when they hear food
being prepared in the kitchen, excited for the meal to come.
