strictly Ballroom
strictly Ballroom is a concert series presenting contemporary chamber music and performing arts. The
series features an array of guest artists from around the San Francisco Bay Area and around the world,
presenting instrumental improvisations, music with real-time electronics, works on video and film,
multichannel tape music, avant-garde classics, and premieres of new compositions.
strictly Ballroom was created by Christopher Burns
and Christopher Jones.
Performances are held in the Ballroom, at the Center for Computer Research in Music and Acoustics (CCRMA), Stanford University.
All performances are free and open to the public.
Please note that for the year 2004-2005, as the Knoll is undergoing renovations the concerts will be held at different
spaces on campus.
