For this assignment I chose to depict the starting scene in one of my favorite movies "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas." I chose to start the play from the viewpoint of an on looker seeing the crazy driving of the drugged up protagnist. Then it cuts to being inside the car listening to the radio being turned on, switched around, settled upon a weird arpegiattic sound that whirls around the car, ultimately leading to the song that constantly plays in the background "Us and Them" by Pink Floyd. I thought it was interesting to juxtapose the words from Johnny Depp's monolgue to this song, giving the play a sort of surreal and psychadelic feeling. The Binaural wav file isn't as effective as the fourchannel "Slates.ck" in depicting the overall feeling of the play but it works. For the words of the play I actually used Johnny Depp's voice since my mic didn't work.
