Hui-Ling Lu was born in Tainan, Taiwan in 1971. She received the Electrical Engineering (Control System) degree from the National Chiao-Tung Univ, Hsin-Chu, Taiwan in 1993 and the MS. in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University, Palo Alto, CA in 1996. In 2002, she got her EE PhD degree at CCRMA.
