  • September 5, 2005: Present paper at ICMC 2005
  • July 21, 2005: Both Elsewhere is a Negative Mirror, Part I and Future Returns, will be performed at the CCRMA Summer Concert in Frost Ampitheater. Program Notes: 1 2 3 4
  • May 31, 2005:Completed Future Returns, an etude for the Electromagnetically-Prepared Piano. Recording to be posted soon.
  • April 30-May 30, 2005: Final Stretch: Complete Etude for EMPP using Max/MSP.
  • April 26, 2005: More work in Max/MSP. Some technical issues resolved.

  • April 20, 2005: Ported sections of my "Capabilities" pd patch into Max/MSP. Created a new Max patch to read from a MIDI score file and send selected waveforms to strings (to be used in etude).

  • April 12, 2005: Demo initial "Capabilities" patch for MUS220C. Need to explore more sound files, listen, write.
  • March 28 - April 13, 2005: Refinements for Per's work.
  • March 20-28, 2005: Built 12 copies over break! Switched to a larger piece of wood. Also built a 12 power-amp array. Light tasks too.
  • March 18-22, 2005: Make impulse response measurements, recordings. Author proposed ICMC paper with Ed Berdahl.
  • February - March, 2005: Testing, adjusting, debugging. Repeat. Add soundcard interface. Go shopping. Refine Construction. Massive Sonic Experimentation.
