Glottal Closure and Opening Detection for Flexible Parametric Voice
Coding
The demonstration shows the results of encoding a voice parametrically.
The glottal closure/opening instatns (GCIs/GOIs) are identified using
Dynamic-programming with polynomial fitting and the parameters associated
with the derivative glottal waveform is identified by regression during
the process. Time scaling is achieved by interpolation among parameters
estimates. Pitch shifting is achieved by changing the period of each
pitch-period marked by GCIs estimates.
