For this project, I combined mere oscillators with manipulated recordings of bells, namely the bell in front of Meyer library and a Korean gong known as the jing. One aspect in music that I am particularly interested in is dense chordal sonorities, and bells convey these thick sonorities with their rich array of overtones.
As for the computer generated sounds, I can only say that my coding ability is weak, and I used whatever elements I knew how to control. I thought more as a traditional composer at a piano than as a programmer when making the score. Outside of chuck, the rest was done with Audacity.
