I used my voice, my cello, sounds meant to imitate the bird calls in my random audio file, etc. I sang the intervals I heard the birds singing and created a kind of canon/ call and response instances to mimic those in the bird recording. I used a recording of Daniel Shafran playing a movement from the fifth Bach Cello Suite, and a movement of Mozart's requiem for my rhythmic impulses.
