For the third homework assignment, I decided to build upon the bassline from the song “September” by Earth, Wind, and Fire. I thought this would be a novel approach to the sample file provided, which had an array of notes being played at a faster and faster pace. Thus, I decided to extend the 4 note array into a 2 bar loop, on top of which I then layered a Rhodey piano sound for the harmonies as well as a violin-esque instrument for the melody.
