The sample is from the scratch recording of a song called Doori which I recently wrote and am in the process of recording. Doori means distance in Hindi. The other day, I was listening to it, and someone mentioned that it was a very simple song with a very simple and predictable chord progression. This piece is the opposite of that. It is supposed to signify confusion, intoxication, and overall uneasiness. Imagine lights flashing, loud music, too much for your brain to handle in the state of mind you are currently in. Abstract, and overwhelming in an uncomfortable way, an unbalanced feeling is expected in the listener.
