I use the population of China from the year 1820 to 2008 from Data Market and pick up the continuous data from 1820 till 2008 (in millions).
The whole trend of the population is growing bigger and bigger, so I'm interested in doing a "sound explosion" of population.
Based on the DataReader class, I'm building three chuck files to show my different approaches.
The first chuck file hw1_Sonify-quick.ck is to generate a stream-like sound where I map the population to different sound pitch, and modify the speed during each playback
The second check file hw1_Sonify-bouncing.ck is my test of using different oscillators, which simulates the sine sweep.
hw1_Player-twochannel.ck is modified from the Player class where I tried two channels playback
