My project aims to create a real-time sonified chess board for the game 'goBang' - Aka: Five-in-row, with the go chess piece.
I'm exploring the music from a harmonic prospective , with a loop-based approach. And I'm also manipulating with
the interactive Open sound control (OSC) through Processing.
Each new sound generated is depend on the board cell triggered by the user. The music is changing realtime according to the user's control
And I also designed a pre-set of board sound
Actually, think of the 16x16 chess board as a 'score' with 16 different notes and 4 measures (4/4)
The system is reading the 'chessBoard score' from left to right, and play notes according to the Go pieces
