[ Computer Generated Sound: Homework#5 ]

#1 Discription

In the free section, I used guitar as my instrument to generate computer music, and changed the computer synthesized sound into saxophony. In the first track I played a segment of the song "I still can't say goodbye" by Tommy Emmanuel, which is a soft song using finger playing. To make a contrast, in the second track, I played a song called "I remember you" by Skid Row, which is a more intense song using striking strings. In the rhythm section, I played a famous guitar riff along with the song "Cigarette and Alcohol" by Oasis with the first track using the same computer sound as the previous section and the other with a moog sound using the amplitude spectrum tracker. Finally, in the scored section, the major sounds in my nature-19 sound track is some water, birds, and monkeys, so I changed the computer synthesized sound into Clarinet to mimic the bird sound and whistled to compose my last two tracks. After mixing them together, the piece sounds like u are moving through a special space, so I decided to call my final sound track "space".
