Music 220a HW 2: Godzilla Attack!

Background:

“Godzilla Attack!” is my binaural recording that I got by combining several soundfiles into chuck. In it, an unnamed character (who is a terrible actor at any rate) and his friend are driving a car when a marauding Godzilla decides to pay them a visit. The main features of this binaural recording are the police sirens, traffic noises, and Godzilla SFX which are situated on separate channels to create a sense of depth. I was additionally able to achieve this by using features in Audacity such as fading in/out and manipulating the tempo of my soundfiles. I also played a little bit with the reverb to make the radio music seem a little more realistic.

All of my soundfiles were recorded, mixed, and assembled through Audacity and chucK.
