Required Software

Laboratory assignments in this course will require Matlab programming. You can probably get by with Octave, the free-software version of basic matlab. The student version of Matlab is only $99, which is a great price compared with more than $2000 for an ``individual'' license. (You should seriously consider purchasing it before you graduate.)
