The piece would develop from a Sanskritic chanting in a Tibetan
adaptation with really deep voice perfectly harmonized in a diffused
sound field.I have already finished this section.
Section 2
After the build up is a subtle introduction of Bansuri. The Bansuri
is a bamboo traverse flute, similar in its design to a modern
concertan Indian flute instrument with a nice bass tone.I have an idea
of the melody but I have to write it down...The Bansuri will have
some kind of a string counter melody introduced preferably using
Sanrangi. The Sarangi is an Indian fiddle roughly the size of a viola
that is played sitting down like a cello or we even consider sarod as
there are more popular sarod players.
Now I know what you're thinking...How is he gonna get these people and
who is gonna pay them?
Well I can prototype these sounds using soft synths for sure and give a
clear definition of the style.
There is a place in SFO called Sangathi,I can talk to those people
find out about a possible collaboration on this.
Section 3
Will be a a jungal bathi of the Bansuri and the string instrument with
traces of the Chants in the back ground. This will be a good place to introduce
high pitched violin traces with tuba supporting
them and some horns for building a tension.
I am working on the rest. |
