Using recordings through condenser mic pushed through the multitracker, I recording some audio into audacity. I spoke-sung a few lines and did some percussion sounds hitting my desk. From here, I was able to put together a piece that actually does have some kind of musical value. First is the free section which builds into the rhythm and ends on the score. My score piece consisted of many birds and a few accented sounds placed throughout. Just like this, my piece uses the background noise of a tracker through my microphone to mimic the birds and I use industrial machine like sounds sampled from the high amplitude portion of tracking my voice.
