FM synthesis is one of the coolest parts that I've encountered in electronic music. It amazed me how the speeding up of the four tones leads to so many different tones. Using different arragnements, releases, attacks, and FM ratios, I'm able to create a clean and a excited, harmonic-filled part. I simply find the repetition of a nice sine wave pleasant and to combine that with the ability to create FM has made this assignment quite pleasant.
