The free sections are comprised of piano improvisation. The free sections open the piece, and have the original piano pitches preserved for harmonic effect. These are transformed with the StifKarp and BeeThree as provided, with modifications made to the output channels. Then, the listener is introduced to the rhythmic sections, which are based on the Justin Timberlake song "Strawberry Bubblegum." For these tracks, binaural Brass and more StifKarp are used. Finally, for the nature section, the contant rumble of the insects is juxtaposed with intermittent episodes of flight; this is produced with a combination of high-pitched clarinet and white noise, a strategy demonstrated in previous assignments and used successfully by several other students.
