Merkin Hall Performance Cem Duruöz will perform at Merkin Hall in New York on May 27, 2006 during the MayFest - Turkish Cultural Festival organized by the Moon and Stars Project. The concert, which will start at 8:00pm, will feature Soprano Demetra George and pianist Richard Weiss in a "Mediterranean Journey" program, presenting the music of Turkey, Greece, Israel and Spain as well as tangos and Broadway favorites. |

Cem Duruöz has performed Rodrigo's Concierto de Aranjuez with the Presidential Symphony Orchestra in Turkey. Under the baton of Maestro Michel Tabachnik, Duruöz performed the famous guitar concerto to a full house audience in Ankara and later in Denizli. The PSO Hall in Ankara seats about a thousand.
