Merkin Hall Performance

Cem Duruöz will perform at Merkin Hall in New York on May 27, 2006 during the MayFest - Turkish Cultural Festival organized by the Moon and Stars Project. The concert, which will start at 8:00pm, will feature Soprano Demetra George and pianist Richard Weiss in a "Mediterranean Journey" program, presenting the music of Turkey, Greece, Israel and Spain as well as tangos and Broadway favorites.

Cem Duruöz has performed in La Guitarra California Festival on September 25.

The concert featured Coco Trivisonno, bandoneonist and included tangos for solo guitar, solo bandoneon and guitar and bandoneon. For details visit La Guitarra California web site.

A celebration of Versailles concert featured works by Marais, Sante Colombe and others with gambist John Dornenburg,  and Harpsichordist Yuko Tanaka.

Cem Duruöz has performed Rodrigo's Concierto de Aranjuez with the Presidential Symphony Orchestra in Turkey.

Under the baton of Maestro Michel Tabachnik, Duruöz performed the famous guitar concerto to a full house audience in Ankara and later in Denizli. The PSO Hall in Ankara seats about a thousand. For a broadband (DSL) video clip click on the picture to the left (Windows Media format, 4MBytes).
