Each note made on the tabla, whether resonant or dry, single or two-handed, is stored in an array of SndBfs (ideally I'll rework that using SndBf2s to further separate sounds from each drum head in performance). The metronome program loops various "tals," beat cycles with several measures, in response to a corresponding letter pressed on the keyboard. The loop will iterate as many times as the key is pressed, but pressing it too much naturally wreak havoc, so it's best for short runs through different tals for beginning students. his current version is not fit for any sort of public distribution. Currently the SndBfs sample an instructional video, which I'll rerecord myself with a proper microphone and tabla set. Eventually I want to try making layered polyrhythms by looping live tabla with spring reverb, binaural, etc.
