MUS 220A - HW 3 - Physical Model and Sampler

Contents

A stereo piece composed in ChucK with the physical model unit generator Sitar, using samples algorithmically from the Muslimgauze track "Morphina Gobi" off of Baghdad (2000). It uses three different algorithms: a logistic map (named for the logarithm function), a pseudorandom function, and a sine wave, acting as more or less filters, to output values which I use for frequency and rhythm information. The sitar is played on a Phrygian dominant scale in C, and passed through reverb. Two stereo versions, "regular" and binaural-encoded, are output.
