Twilight Zone came from various ambient recordings. I spent the weekend in Disneyland and thus carried the microphone I built at CCRMA and randomly recorded the noise around me. Using Ableton, I then edited silences and created four different audio tracks corresponding to different pannings: center, top left, top right, bottom left, bottom right. I attempted to modify a vocal track I recorded in one of the rides by glitching it and adding various snippets of other recordings. The ultimate result was supposed to be a more creepy, distorted and bizzare version of the original track.
