After scavenging through multiple time series plots hidden in the depths of the Internet, I managed to stumble upon a particular data set that piqued my curiosity, as well as intensified my late-night hunger. The time series detailed the "Price of Chicken" in an agriculturally-based sales market from 1924-1993. The prices are displayed in constant U.S. dollars. Not knowing quite what to expect out of this poultry-based .dat file, I ran a quick terminal command that "chuck'd" the DataReader.ck file and my priceOfChicken.dat to provide a dry output of the newly-sonified time series. Shortly after soaking in the high-frequency fluctuations of the sonified .dat file, I pressed on to launch MiniAudicle and "shred" DataReader.ck with priceOfChicken.dat's path scribed into the argument line. After the DataReader.ck shred was successful, I specified the .dat file's path in "Player.ck" and recorded the output via Audacity. I utilized this enveloped player output as my base tone for the rest of my effects-ridden onslaught through Audacity multi-tracking. I also altered the frequency caps in the Player.ck file. For comedic touches, I supplemented the final .wav file with a quick mp3 file filled with chicken squawks. Time-Series Information: Price Of Chicken Data
