HW3: Physical Model and Sampler

Gabriele Carotti-Sha

This is a binaural-encoded version of a four channel algorithmic performance. The synthesized voice uses the Saxophony class with tweaked parameters, whereas the sampled audio file was recorded with air-mic and ukulele.
Not much was done with .pos because in this case the sampled audio file was not a sequence of distinct notes, but already contained melodic structure. Instead, .rate was controlled by the logistic map.
Initially the sampler rate is increased to achieve a sharp glass-like sound. When the rate is decreased, the original audio signal is more recognizable and plays rhythmically with the synthesized instrument.
