This assignment consists of a reading of the Babel Fish passage from The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy by Douglas Adams. The reading is accompanied by music, sound effects, and vocal effects. The explosion, the puff of logic, and the voices of God and Man are enhanced by combinations of reverb, delay, chorus, equalization, and pitch shifting. The voices, music, and effects are panned to four different directions, simulated in stereo by binaural convolution.
