Abstract:

The Synthesis Toolkit (STK) is used by many in the musical community for building simple to complex effects and instruments using basic signal-processing components. In this laboratory, we provide step-by-step directions for obtaining and installing the STK, as well as various exercises for beginners in object-oriented and C++ programming.
