Printing from Mac OS X
Macintosh printing via Appletalk is currently working on all versions of Mac OS. It is only available through the ethernet guestnet at this time and is not available through the wireless system.
For OS X, Follow these steps.
Your Mac should already have the printer drivers available.
Under the apple, choose System Preferences
Choose Network.
Choose Built-in Ethernet.
Choose the Appletalk tab.
Make it active (configure automatically) and apply.
Next, in your application, under Print... choose Edit Printer List, then Add Printer...
You should see np or np2 listed. With the printer name highlighted, scroll the Printer Model window to HP LaserJet 4050 Series and click Add
