touch'n'go / toco y me voy

A new version of touch'n' go will be staged at CCRMA, Stanford University, on May 7, 2001, at 8:00 pm. touch'n'go (or toco y me voy), an eight-channel computer-generated tape piece by Damián Keller, combines texts by José Hernández (Martín Fierro), Borges, Cortázar, and the composer.

This performance features actor José Barraza and dancer Verónica Alvarez, both recently arrived from Argentina, and actor Guilherme Coelho. The theatrical direction is by Ana Lúcia F. S. Keller.

touch'n'go provides a poignant look at social and political issues. Its sounds and texts are charged with humor, irony, and poetry.
