Course description:

An introduction to sonification of multidimensional data using the MAX/MSP and PD programming languages. Mapping scientific data to MIDI and sound synthesis parameters.

Prereqs: Music 19 or higher

Projects: Each student will select a data set, design and implement a sonification strategy that best fits the particular data and the research goals of the data analyst.
